Shower kept going from hot to cold every few minutes.
ZAThe breakfast was very good. The manor itself and the surrounding gardens are absolutely stunning and the lady who welcomed us and looked after us was wonderful.
I think it needs to be mentioned that the bedrooms are in a loft as we weren't expecting that especially with the bathroom downstairs. The loft balustrading was not very safe and a portion was missing right alongside the bed which made me feel uncomfortable. The bathroom was lovely but had a connecting door to the kitchen as we could hear the staff talking, the clattering of plates etc and smell the bacon cooking. We also weren't expecting such a long extent of gravel road which in some areas was quite bad especially as we were in a car and not a bakkie so it was slow going.
