We loved our stay at Mulagueta. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best coffee I have had in Portugal. The owner couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. She made us feel at home.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The owners were absolutely lovely, so helpful and friendly. We had a big room with air-conditioning and a big TV to watch the Paris Olympics! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location. Pity the restaurant wasn't open but a 10 minute drive into Almeida opens up several possibilities, recommend Restaurant Granitus at the gateway to Almeida ..... and the "village" or "old town" , is simply INCREDIBLE. We look forward to returning in July, on our way back to the UK with our Portuguese rescue dog. Ana (or Anna, not sure of the spelling), is just a marvel. THOROUGHLY recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
