Agriturismo Casale Montebello

This was one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed. The local agricultural scenery was incredible and was maybe even prettier than the pictures. The restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed our dinner on night one. The commune of Monteleone di Spoleto with 700 people overlooking the beautiful valley was a great traditional Italian town to visit. The room was well appointed in an old building with a great large shower. Staff was most polite and helpful. Great parking and WIFI.

Day two changed a bit when sales conference with 50 or so people arrived. The quiet dinner the night before transformed into a typical noisy and raucous business conference. Likewise with breakfast so we lost out on the savory breakfast we had ordered and the quiet serenity to enjoy it. We will stay again but check to see what else is scheduled at this beautiful venue.

Absolutely beautiful location and friendly staff who went out of their way to welcome me and make me feel comfortable and completely at peace in this green paradise. They happily drove me to Cascia so that I could return on foot on a section of the Camino di San Benedetto. The meals were delicious and it was so nice to go to their restaurant just across from my room. At lunch I could look out on the countryside and town of Monteleone di Spoleto from the terrace in the company of friendly cats and a sleeping dog. in the distance, horses and dogs ran in pastures for the sheer joy of it. At dinner I enjoyed the relaxed interior while discovering the wonderful local cuisine.

Nothing except Booking and Google Maps may want to correct the name to say Agriturismo instead of Agristurismo.
