Agriturismo del Pigato - Bio Vio

Great place and close to Albenga and other towns. Family was so nice and helpful. Apartment was great for a family of 6. The town the the BioVio is in very friendly.

Nothing it was great

- clean accommodation - very good breakfast - very friendly staff at breakfast - quiet location - well equipped kitchen in the apartment

- Apartment was very gloomy - bed was very bad, one mattress was very worn out (you were practically lying on the grate, either bad quality or worn out), the other mattress in the same bed was much better - at check in we were processed quickly, there were hardly any tips, as others wrote - Wifi was very bad - communication in advance was difficult, we received answers very late and questions were hardly answered - the restaurant was closed and unfortunately we couldn't eat there, there are hardly any other restaurant options in the area (which were open) - you have to rely on your car - Balcony at the apartment is not really a balcony, but more in a courtyard (without a view or sunlight)

The family that owns this wonderful place is very nice and considerate. They are very helpful, especially in recommending things to do in the area. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and had everything we needed. You can also sampke their wine and olive oil that they produce. .

Parking is a bit challenging if you have a big car, but don't let that stop you from experiencing this establishment.

It is unique. In a very interesting village with facilities. 10 minutes to the beach. Very helpful and caring family. Large rooms including a lift directly into your apartment. Fantastic breakfast with perfectly boiled eggs and breakfast tea. Privacy and great walks around the village with very friendly neighbours.

Leaving.

We (my family and I) had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo del Pigato - Bio Vio. The place is ran by the family Vio who are both excellent hosts and lovely people. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with many local ingredients and products (not included but well priced at 8e per person). As the guests we were offered a free wine and olive oil tasting! It was a great opportunity to try and purchase some of the unique local products, learn more about the wine making and olive oil making history of the family Vio and the region of Liguria. Last but not least, for anyone traveling with a dog, this place is dog friendly (with a small surcharge). - Albenga is a charming town with many restaurants - some sandy beaches nearby Free street parking nearby with plenty of spots

not so much of a problem for us, but something to be aware of: - you need a car to go places - parking outside of the property (but you can park on the property for some minutes to unload your luggage)

We were pleasantly surprised by this adorable family run business. They showed us their winery and products, they were fantastic. The apartment was everything we wanted and more, everything was so beautiful and we would love to return
