We stayed here with 2 teenagers for one week. The accomodation is very clean and cosy and foreseen from all comfort. The interiour is matching the style. The breakfast is exceptional good with all kind of local specialties. The owners are very friendly and recommended us some nice daytrips around the neighbourhood. We also had the wine and oiltasting and also those are very nice! Certainly a place worth to come back! Thank you for the hospitality!

Words can't express how outstanding this place is. We had space to park our van right outside in the driveway of the owner's house so very secure. Carolina was the perfect hostess from the moment I enquired about booking through their website. We arrived around 9.30pm from the Genoa ferry. Just in time to get a takeaway pizza just a 2 minute walk away. We bought bio wine from our hostess. Perfect ! The apartment was large, new, clean, with buckets of character. Gigantic comfortable bed and linens. Beautiful shower room. Also bought some bio virgin olive oil before we left. Enjoyed bio oranges and lemons too. Caroline gave us some if their herbs and chillis to take with us. Breakfast is available but we didn't try it. You must stay here. Just over an hour from Genoa. We will be back for sure. The perfect place to stay a week or longer to explore the area. Thanks Carolina 😀

I stayed here with my father for 4 nights in July. We were attending the international 500 raduno. First, the accommodation, kitted out in rustic and modern decor. Each with own balcony. Spotlessly clean, local herbs in room. Loved the marble sinks and shower. We slept like logs. The commune of Bastia is a gorgeous village with a bar, small shop and great pizzeria. The hospitality and welcome from the owners was outstanding and breakfast was wonderful daily. As Fiat 500 fans we were thrilled to find out the owners were also members of the fiat 500 club and displayed their two 500s all weekend. We really enjoyed talking to other guests from Italy at breakfast who also attended the same event. A final HUGE thanks to Carolina who gave us a spin in their old fiat 500 into Albenga. Grazie to all!

A very comfortable and charming place to stay. The family who run this place are very friendly and helpful. Outside breakfast was delicious (and large!) We tried the wines and olive oil produced by the family which was delicious. Nearby is Albenga which is a pretty town and the Ligurian coast which is beautiful.

We stayed at Bio Vio for five days in October 2016 and had a very enjoyable holiday. The building is fascinating, with many nooks, stairs and rooftop terraces. Our room, The Loft, was spacious, pleasant and very clean. The family being an active wine producer, we had the opportunity to follow the winemaking process, and to taste the different wines - and the eminent pigato grappa! As guests at Bio Vio we felt welcome from the first moment, the Vio family are really friendly. Breakfasts in the family's kitchen were a treat, with many homemade and "kilometro zero" products. Bastia is a nice and unpretentious village, within easy reach for historic Albenga. A holiday at Bio Vio is highly recommended!

We had a lovely time staying in the apartment of Bio Vio. A lovely family who runs it, very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. Really conveniently located. A short drive to the main road, and then on the highway to nearby cities. We highly recommend this lovely place to anyone!
