Quinta do Outono

José gave us excellent directions to reach the property. It has a lovely view over the vineyards. There is ample parking.

The ambiance, the cleanliness, the hosts, the comfortable beds and the dogs! The dinner was also exceptional!

This Quinta was a breath of fresh air and completely unexpected. The whole experience was amazing. We rented the 3 bedroom apartment with kitchen and everything was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked, and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner cooked by our hosts for a small extra fee, it was well worth it. Walking on the gorgeous winery (all the pics I’ve included are from their property), swimming in the pool, and even fed the pigs and the chickens! Thank you so much! This was so memorable! And very difficult to leave! We hope to be back one day!

Spacious, well-furnished and well-equipped accommodation in a picturesque setting. Very friendly hosts and the quiche they welcomed us with was particularly appreciated as we arrived late and had made no arrangements for dinner. Do not miss the opportunity if invited to visit the vineyard and cellars. One could easily spend a few weeks just sitting out in the yard enjoying the beautiful scenery and walking the trails that are all around the property. Very convenient to explore the entire Douro region.

Look no further book this Quinta for your stay in the Douro Valley! Whether you are with your family, friends or looking for a couples get away — it’s a perfect place to disconnect and relax. The property has everything you need with wonderful views throughout. We stayed in the 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit with another couple and our 5 month old and the space had everything we needed and then some. Pools were perfect for cooling off during the hot days. Our favorite spot was the patio outside the apartment with Adirondack Chairs overlooking the Quinta. Now for the best part of the stay — the hosts!! Anabela and José are the best. They are warm, wonderful hosts that made us feel right at home. They did everything they could to make our stay excellent and were so accommodating with our 5 month old. They had great recommendations for what to do in the area and put up with our million questions about the history of the quinta . Make sure you select the option to do the dinner at the Quinta. Anabela’s cooking is amazing and José is a wonderful dinner host — some of our best meals and conversations when visiting the Douro were here. We will definitely be coming back just to hang out with them again and to eat more of Anabela’s meals 🙂
