Finca La Magia

Finca la Magia was excellent! It is a beautiful semi-secluded sanctuary perfect for travelers who enjoy peace and quiet and nature, and who are interested in trading a few luxuries for a more authentic and eco-friendly stay. It is a few miles from any stores or restaurants, but they serve food on site that is delicious and reasonably priced.

If you are looking for a quiet place in nature for a reasonable price this is your place. The facilities are basic but comfortable. It is more of a glamping experience. Excellent breakfasts and dinners are available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

The wifi works in the common area, and you can get limited cellular connection for the high point in the room shown in the picture. The road in a rough in places probably not for inexperienced motorbikers if you have luggage.

The treehouse was a getaway into the jungle. It is in the middle of nowhere but there is something very magical about it. We were the only ones there besides the host and at night you could hear and see so many animals from your bed. The treehouse is very basic but if you go in expecting that it is perfect. There is cold running water and two USB charging ports but that's it besides the bed, mosquito net and hammock. The toilets are located down by the main farm but are clean and compostable. We would highly recommend staying here for a mini adventure!

The wifi was only available at the main farm but that wasn't much of a problem as I don't think you stay in a treehouse expecting luxuries.

Amazing! Well ‘off the beaten path’ for folks who need minimal creature comforts aside from a comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. Well maintained bungalows raised up over the finca. Incredible and private outdoor showers. Delfa is not only amazing but incredibly patient if you have limited to no Spanish. She’s also an amazing chef who makes beautiful vegetarian dishes from scratch.

Small farm with lovely people and sustainable housing opportunities. Totally recommend if you look for an authentic place in the nature. Fresh farm meals and tasty juices at your desire. Peaceful.

....but the base dorm is a dungeon with lots of flies, and big spiders

Very cosy place with beautiful scenery. The staff was super friendly, the man helped us in the hard situation with the taxi driver and behave extremely nice with us... we are very grateful for all you did for us! local vibe, very recommended

One of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. We originally booked for 4 days and ended up staying for 10! If you like rustic and wild this is the place. Most certainly the best place to stay in ometepe. The tree house style rooms are amazing, the location is away from tourist hot spots and you are surrounded by trees, beautiful flowers, birds and monkeys! Delfa and her family are delightful people to be amongst, made us feel right at home and her cooking...... well I'm missing it already! Thankyou finca la magia for such a beautiful time!!!
