Agriturismo Villa Dauphiné

The location was handy for the wedding we attended. You need a car to explore the area though other guests managed with bus service. We had double room that shared a shower room with twin room next door, occupied by my sister-in-law, so that worked well. We had dinner one night and it was tasty with local products, though heavy on meat.

Having an iron in room or common area would be useful considering the accommodation is close to a lot of Medici villas which are now wedding venues. The rooms are dark and you need lights on all day, but it means they stay cool. Take mosquito repellent for walking in olive grove or sitting to admire the view. The breakfast is self-service so you can have it when you want, but it got dull after 4 days: toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, cake. Ran out of black tea and bananas.

Eugenio was so nice. The communication was fabulous. We had a nice breakfast with cakes, toast, cereal, and yoghurt. The farmhouse was perfect, absolutely stunning, and the rooms were large and comfortable with a beautiful view out every window. We took a walk to the back of the vineyard where you could see Florence in the valley below....so beautiful. It was easy and fast to get into florence. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed our stay, owners were lovely, villa is beautiful. We enjoyed dinner there 3 nights of our 5 night stay and they were happy to cater for vegetarians. We didn't have a car and caught the bus into Florence a few days, bus was close, not super frequent but manageable. We had a medium sized suitcase which we hauled up the rocky driveway the villa (we knew that was coming and were happy to give it a go!).

We had a great stay, Eugenio is such a nice person and the typical dinner was a good surprise to us.

The menu was very nice, special and tasty, the hotel looks like and feels like a castle, very beautiful Garden and view over florence, very special and charming rooms, very nice owner who is also very friendly and communicative and has good english skills Possibility to buy homemade wine and olive oil

So beautiful, lovingly restored, but left to feel the history. The olive trees so lovely to walk through.

The place is amazing and very beautiful! It was a pleasure to stay there. It really is the experience you want to have in Tuscany! The host is very polite and supportive. It was really easy and efficient to get in contact. Overall, the experience is better than any expectations!
