De gastheer was erg vriendelijk en het diner was erg lekker. De locatie was erg mooi.

I have been several times now and it is as amazing as ever. The rooms are simple, clean and practical. Cavriglia is perfectly situated for travelling through Tuscany and Stefano and Anne Marie are the born hosts. They love good food and wine and company and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Tuscany than here. It is always exciting to come to the table in the evening to see what Stefano has cooked and to meet other travellers from around the world to discuss and eat and drink. Their home made olive oil and wine is to die for.

We stayed for one night in June this year after attending a wedding in the area, it was good value. The room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. It is within walking distance of the town centre which has bars and restaurants. We didn't eat at the property on this occasion but have done on previous visits to the area. The property is ideally situated for visiting the Chianti region and is a good place to relax and unwind at the end of the day with a bottle of local wine. Some friends dropped our luggage off in the morning and on our arrival it was in our room waiting, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again but wouldn't bother with breakfast which I thought was very over priced at €5 for some tea/coffee, bread and jam. Go to one of the local bars for a coffee and pastry much better value.
