La Locanda Cuccuini

We stayed for a few nights recently, having stayed with our 3 children 6 years ago. We always do half board - breakfast, 3 course meal and accommodation because it is excellent value and we get to experience local cuisine. We met couples from other European countries and enjoyed the interaction Meals are simple but excellent Tuscan fare made from local seasonal produce. We drank red wine from their vineyard, enjoyed olive oil on our bread and meals from their olive trees. Stefano and Anna Maria are excellent hosts who assist in planning day trips in the region. Accommodation is just right for a rural Tuscan experience. An excellent base to explore Tuscany - short distance to Florence, Siena etc

We have stayed at La Locanda Cuccuini at least 10 times. The food and the hospitality are absolutely amazing. The owners are wonderful hosts and always make us feel like we are at home. This is a great jumping off point to visit the Chianti region of Tuscany. We will be returning to this wonderful place soon.
