Cute cottages and beautiful views of the mountains.

Had to cross a river to get to property,too many flies , bath is completely uncomfortable and expensive for what you get.

Amazing view of mountains, outside toilet is great and very nice swimming pool, nice box with books for kids and adults and nice outside hammock

Booked as a family of 6 adults 2 babies and 2 toddlers. Got room 1 at beginning of entrance and the last room about 50 meters away. We wanted to share a family christmas and my mother that is 78 years old close to the grandchildren. This did not happen because we were far from each other. We asked to be moved but they told us it is not possible. The mattresses are on wooden pallets which are bigger than the mattresses which resulted in blue marks from all the bumps. The ankole unit has a terrible sewage smell coming from the roof. Crockery chipped. Basins and showers leaked. Some lights don't work. Seems like little maintenance is done. Cottage is not the correct description. It is a long row of units sharing walls with the neighbours. This meant no privacy. A lot of flies. Definitely not a farm experience as limited animals, 4 geese, 2 chickens and a few donkeys on the neighbouring farm. The units are on a plot not a farm. The drive over the bridge is quite daunting as the water in one area flows very strong and not suitable for a car with low clearance or night time driving.

Beautifully furnished with thoughtful touches. The beds were extremely comfortable, the outside bathrooms were a treat, too! Very quiet location, safe, secure and stunning. We enjoyed our girls trip here.

The only issue we really had was that we hired a car that was a bit of a joke (a renault kwid), so trying to get over the river was difficult and we were not confident going over it at night time. I would recommend if staying here - get a higher car with a bit more power then it shouldn't be a problem.

Amazing views, cool interiors and great to be able to look out at the animals and also the braai was a highlight!
