I cannot fault the stay as the Booking was made late by me and the owner made it clear that there was no elecetricity .so overall i was happy

The location and seclution

We enjoyed the remote location, what we were looking for.

It was 37 degrees when we arrived at 17h00 and the notice in the accomodation read that you cant sleep with the doors or windows open and there was only one small fan to share between the two rooms. Not sure how that was supposed to work. Secondly, there was also a notice that you might run out of battery power so the fan could stop working during the night. In that heat we could not see ourselves sleeping at 37 degrees with windows and doors shut the whole night. The kitchen was also not the cleanest with black mold inside the fridge.

The views

No wood available even though the info page in room stated R30 a bag. Also the 19km gravel road to get to the facilities is not maintained at all and should have been stated on the add as we have a small car.

It was a peaceful and private place with a beautiful view

The view is stunning

The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. We did not stay in the cottage that I booked. The fridge is also tiny, and the solar only lasted to 10pm.
