Very kind and helpful staff, good breakfasts, beautiful stylish old house

7 min from the port. 15 minutes from airport. Very beautiful old house. Wonderful large breakfast. Very clean. Great service. Many places to relax. Outdoor patio with view of mount pico. Incredible value! This was perfect for us.

The house is huge and nice from outside, with a parking for 3 cars. Tasty breakfast. A bottle of water and some apples in the room

The lady welcoming guests was very rude with me. Although due to a cancellation in my flight from another island I lost one night and I tried to ask them for a discount or so, the owner told me only "no refunds" in booking, and the lady "this is not my problem". Anyway zero emphaty. About the bedroom, the bed was quite uncomfortable and the plastic covering the matress very noisy. The bathroom is outside of the room and you have to walk the corridor to reach it as it´s not inside the room, it's private but outside. The house it looks more a museum where the owners are more interested is showing you the old furniture that making you feel comfortable. The house it's a bit sinister, like the lady. The area it's a bit scary at night when i came back with the car. No one in the streets and very dark. The price is quite expensive but probably they are including the ticket of this "museum"

The house is very very beautiful. For me it was like a museum. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The house has a large garden where you can eat at the table or make a barbecue or lie in a hammock. In the garden, you will find many old relics, such as plows and harrows. There are also many trees, they must have been tangerines. If you are traveling by car, there is a parking space in the yard. You can also leave your bike in a safe place, which was the case for me. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The lady who serves this house was very friendly. Obrigada

Very clean premises, clean bright comfortable bathroom, good filling breakfast, interesting historical interior design. The walk to Horta takes about 45 min and offers beautiful views. The way back is a bit longer and more demanding as you have to go up the hill.

Beautiful old house and nice garden, very delicious breakfast

The welcome by the hostess was very warm and friendly by Maria. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Every day my room was fresh and cleaned. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay carefree in the Azores.

The only downside was that the distance to town was 3 km and that had to be done on foot or by taxi.
