"Good until the owner tried to force more money from us from booking.com"

6.0

The overall cottage was nice. It was big and spacious and plenty of room for a family. We where met on arrival which was a warming welcome.

The cottage was advertised with a hot tub but there is no hot tub within the premises. The owner had phoned to let us know this AFTER booking instead of putting it on the description so it is misleading. I let the owner know that two friends and I would be visiting the cottage to celebrate my birthday and I don’t think that she liked the thought of this as she was really hesitant and supercilious after informing her of this. After leaving the cottage I was sent pictures with damage to a door which absolutely was not us and the owner complaining about the bedsheets after they have been slept in? Use the washing machine please. Albeit that one throw was stained with a tiny bit of juice which was an accident I did offer to replace it but didn’t hear anything back.

"Fantastic host, great location and lovely accommodation."

10.0

Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Lots of lovely touches and a nice welcome pack when we arrived. Colene the host was very friendly and communication was great with her checking in with us that all was ok and proving lots of helpful information about local facilities. The location was great and it was lovely to be on the farm with the chickens and have the opportunity to feed the alpacas and plant trees. We had such an enjoyable stay.

Nothing. Everthing was excellent.

"Perfect, cosy farm stay!"

10.0

We stayed in the Dairy Parlour and it was perfect! So peaceful and cosy. Colene and family were lovely and provided everything you could need and more! We loved watching the chickens and ducks walking about and our two little chihuahuas loved it too! Will definitely be back ❤️
