We had a superb time. This is a wonderful accommodation in a great location.

Great location with amazing view to from the balcony, we also have possibility to buy some fresh eggs from host, Leonel was great host, keeping us informed about the trails as the wather in march was bit windy, very well equipted kitchen, 2 lovely and friendly cats in the garden, few restaurants in walking distance aprox 10 min was very handy. IN general we enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend it especially if you like to stay smaller town surrounded by mountains views, but still not far from the sea.

Absolutely beautiful location. Loenel was a great host. Definitely do the walk to the church and local levada that he recommended - breath taking views! Very comfortable and clean accomodation. Thank you!

We appreciated that the location was up on the hill above the town. It was so peaceful and quiet. There was plenty of free, on street parking. The house we stayed in was very private, quiet, well equipped with everything we needed and very clean. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The views from the private outdoor patio were stunning. We enjoyed being able to easily go to the oceanfront to the market for groceries and there were several cafes and restaurants for food and drinks. Leonel sent us a lot of useful information on WhatsApp about the area and activities.

Elda did a great job of walking us around the property and explaining the areas on the property that were common space and private space. In the house, it was helpful that she explained how to work the stovetop and coffee machine. One recommendation is that they include an explanation or show how the key should be used in the entry door. We found that to be a little tricky, but got the hang of it. One additional amenity to consider adding to the house would be a fan to circulate the air when sleeping. Those are just minor suggestions and not negative at all. This property and Leonel and Elda were fantastic and we would definitely stay here again.

This is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. The apartment was extremely clean and looked amazing - we especially loved the view through our glass door from where you could see the entire valley. The outside facilities like the pool and the garden as well as the terrace could not be more perfect. We were amazed how much work is put into all the little details. The location is perfect, a little bit up the hill right in São Vicente. You have an incredible view of the village and the mountains but you are at the same time in walking distance from the centre of the town and the ocean. Leonel and Elda are the most amazing host we have ever met - they made us feel welcome from the first second and gave us some very useful recommendations for our trip. He also arranged for us to rent a car which worked perfectly. We really loved the selfmade wine and fresh eggs. This place is very unique we enjoyed it so much that we did not want to leave. We are hoping to come back soon to this wonderful place!
