Great view. The room was well appointed, the linens and the pillows and comforter were very soft and the mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and a real blow dryer. That was powerful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. My dietary restrictions were very well accommodated.

The location was off a mile off the Via Degli Dia. If you’re walking there’s no place on the way to grab something to eat.

If you’re doing the Via Degli Dei, you MUST stay here. This was perhaps the highlight of my trip - from the tasting menu (genuinely some of the best food that I had that week), to the views, the rooms, everything. Alfonso went above and beyond as a host. I ended up forgetting my Kindle and he drove to Fiesole so that I could get it back, saving me from having to book a very expensive taxi from Florence. Thank you again so very much for your kindness and amazing place!

Host Alfonso and his people were superkind and friendly. I had the pleasure to eat his dinner from his mostly self grown ingridiends, which was delicious. Would always come back and can only recommend the stay.

Nothing really

Homemade, fresh food every morning and night that was traditional Italian cuisine, adorable dog, and very welcoming, kind staff!

If you did not rent a car, getting to Firenze can be a bit more difficult (but with the help of the owner it was made so much easier).

Everything was great! The room was cozy, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We also ate dinner there most of the nights which consisted of a four course meal and was just delicious. I absolutely recommend this place for everyone who'd like to escape to a quiet place within nature after a busy day in the city of Florence which is only about 20 mins away by car.

Alfonso gave us a warm and friendly welcome in spite of our extremely late arrival due to flight delays. We were very comfortable and loved the peaceful atmosphere and beauty. Breakfast was fantastic.

Wish we weren’t charged the late arrival fee; but understand that guests showing up late could likely disrupt the owners sleep or routine.
