Very good value for money, views from the property and access and proximity to resorts and restourants. Property is well secured and there was no security concerns.

no shower. Only a bath but my wife didn't complain, with some bath bombs and lavender soaps bought locally she enjoyed the bath much more than a shower.

We had a lovely stay at Swallowfields in the rondawel. The rondawel is well built and very comfortable. Has all you need inside. Beautiful location. Close to all amenities and hikes. James was very kind and helpful.

Location excellent as we went to watch the Drakensburg Choir which is within walking distance

Everything was good no complaints

The setting was idyllic and scenic. Mr. Seymour proved to be the finest host I've ever encountered—kind, welcoming, exceptionally friendly, and hospitable. It's his warmth that makes my wife and me eager to return to this accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and only wish we could have extended our stay.

While this may not pertain directly to the lodging, the weather was excessively hot during our stay. Consequently, on the first night, we encountered numerous bugs and mosquitoes in the room, leading to some discomfort. Fortunately, the fan provided relief from the heat, although a bed net during this season could enhance the sleeping experience. Additionally, the bed could be a tad softer and more comfortable. However, it's understandable given the value for money. Despite these minor considerations, we had all the essentials and, overall, a satisfactory stay.

We enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful weekend at Swallowfield Rondavels. James was incredibly helpful, accommodating and we appreciated his excellent communication. The rondavels are comfortable and very conveniently located for visitors to make the most of the attractions in the area.

Our Rondavel was very comfortable for two people sharing. It had all of the basic amenities however, some braai tongs and another table top to use for food preparation would've added to the level of comfort.
