Stunning farm location. Friendly farm staff who are happy to let you watch the cows being milked. Close enough for a short drive to town to stock up on groceries or a visit to a restaurant. Comfortable self catering with everything needed to cook etc

Located on a beautiful farm, very peaceful

Braai facility was old, and a few things in the kitchen were broken, bit apart from that, overall, the provision of things that are needed were provided. The bed in the main bedroom was small.

"Hidden gem outside Swellendam"

Location was great. No people, just lots of cows

Bed was too soft for me but I need a firm mattress, other than that, everything was great.

"What a view!"

What a view! Popped into lovely Swellendam but couldn't wait to get back to enjoy the peace and gorgeousness of Appelsbosch. The location is hard to beat. The cottage is clean and very well equipped inside and out. Met some of the farm staff who were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights but would happily have stayed much longer.
