"Den Hagen Guest Farm is the perfect stay to visit the Tiffindel"

The owners, Mrs. Judy Browne & her husband, are very amiable and super helpful in ensuring we have a comfortable stay at their place. Their accommodation is one of the closest you can get to the Tiffindel Ski Resort (unfortunately closed during our time visiting the place). We are a group of 8 people and really enjoying our stay at the Den Hagen Guest Farm, the house is homey, and the location is very serene and beautiful, the perfect escape to refresh your head and mind.

You will need a high-ground-clearance SUV to reach this place and to go uphill to the Tiffindel Ski Resort. The roads are broken, and the climbs are mostly too steep for a sedan or MPV. If you come during the snowy season, you will need a high-ground-clearance SUV with all-wheel drive. When we arrived in July, the snow was not too much during our visit; hence, the 2WD Fortuner was doing just fine (we also brought the 4WD Prado just in case the Fortuner was going to be stuck, but we barely noticed the need for the Prado's 4wd capability). But the views near the Tiffindel Ski Resort are beyond worth the struggle to get up there.

The farm is located on the banks of The Bell River in a very beautiful part of our country. Or hosts were extremely accomodating and friendly. Our accomodation had an old world charm. We really appreciated the wifi as the cell phone signal was pretty much non-existent. A one night stopover was too short.
