Location was just stunning. The house is literally antique (the house is very old and is furnished in beautiful antiques) but all in perfect working order. Fireplaces kept going by staff and it's toasty warm in winter. Free guided tours to see frozen waterfalls and climb the nearby hills in the snow. Just perfect.

The Cobbles, sleeping 3, is very comfortable. Heating of the cottage during a very cold 3 days was excellent. The cottage is equipped with everything needed and more such as a measuring jug, hand mixer, scissors,steak knives etc as well as consumables such as hand cream. The attention to detail adds greatly to ones comfort. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and Roger lead us on a hike to a beautiful waterfall.. We loved our stay and hope to be back.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Staff are friendly, light fires in teh late afternoon so rooms are nice and hot. owners are helpful and want to show people the beauty of the area. All in all a great experience.

Roads were a bit difficult, especially after the snow, definitely only for SUV's or 4x4.

Rustic cottage with old-time ambiance, beautiful setting. Very comfortable cottage with adequate heating facilities for cold nights. Our hosts were very friendly and our cottage was super clean. We will definitely return for another wonderful holiday,
