Laughing Waters Farm

Such a beautiful unit. In a quiet relaxing environment. Unit is done up really nicely with beautiful high ceilings. Well furnished with everything you need. And not too far from Stanford for a day trip. Host was also so welcoming.

The tranquility of the farm and the friendly hosts was welcoming. The ideal place to relax and unwind. Super friendly and lovely dogs. Pity the weather was not in our favor to do more activities, which means we will have to return to this amazing farm in future....and in summer!! Thanks Kirsten and family for the lovely stay.

The freedom in the nature. Wel equiped houses with so many free extras. Amazing old farm style.

I loved the fact that the house was so cosy and well equipped! The area is so tranquil and lots of place for our fur babies to run and play :)

A really lovely cottage with everything you need and on the most beautiful farm where you can have a lovely long walk up to the dam for a swim. My doggies also loved it.

Beautiful scenery and surrounds. There was lovely walking trails as well as braai facilities which made for good quality time with family.

Meet all expectations of a farm type of cottage. Clean, accommodating, sufficient. Host Kirsten is very welcoming. Our dogs enjoyed their stay too.

For our first visit to the Stanford region, it was certainly a beautfiful surprise The 2 Oak trees, gaurding the property offered wise stillness and space holding. while the mountain range itself holds a prominent resonance. A still dam to bath in at the foot of the mountain range after a walk over the hills, was a delight, while the horses hold a special energy when you stop and feel their gaze. Wonderful hosts, peaceful surrounds, spoiled with a cosy running fire throughout to keep things warm during a beautiful cleaning rain.
