"A healing getaway in nature"

The setting of the cottage was so peaceful and very healing. Loved the coziness of the cottage for when it rained or was a little colder, while the outdoor space allows you to feel connected to nature and to soak up the sun. Our walks on the farm in between the fynbos were beautiful and we loved the visits to the horses and pet sheep and goats. Laughing Waters is a beautiful getaway.

The cooking facilities are outside which can be a little challenging, but the kitchen nook is very well protected from wind and rain so it is actually quite a cozy outside space. Also would have enjoyed a bath for my little one (there is only a shower) but I was well aware of this and made a plan.

"Lovely and cosy floral cottage on a farm."

Generously and thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, rusks, flowers, firewood, firefighters. Electric blankets were a delightful . Peaceful, breathtaking views of the mountains. Wonderful warm shower. Fireplace was cute and warm.

Just that there wasn’t a bath, which wasn’t expressly clear on the booking but the shower made up for it.
