The views are fabulous. I love the rustic cottage. The kitchen and fridge is big enough for a bigger family.

The river should be cleared of the reeds.

We had an amazing stay. Enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs. A beautiful walk through protea fields to a private dam to swim. Truly a great holiday, we will most definitely be back.

The cottage was beautiful decorated with fresh flowers in all the lounge areas. Our dogs loved the freedom to run around (even though the cottage/property if full fenced up). The water (spring water according to property owners) was amazing. Fresh & delicious. You can see thought went into the making our stay comfortable (matches, reading materials, electric blankets, ice, first-aid kit, candles/lamps etc.). Thank you. And, of course, the peace & quiet had us relaxed to near comatose levels. 😂

I would’ve liked more storage space in the kitchen. We travelled with groceries for 2 days & the items that didnt go in the fridge kinda just stacked up an already crowded counter. Also, it’s on me, but I didnt realise the farm was such a distance (approx 20min drive) outside of the town. It’s perfect for a remote farming experience though.
