Fabulous location for a stopover travelling north. Frozen meals and treats were an unusual offering and were well priced.

bright yellow painted walls were not my choice but it looked newly decorated. Heating was totally inadequate. Bedding was old, needed crisp white linen and modern light weight bed covers.

I did not order breakfast. The location was private, comfortable, and the response to my messages prompt. The owner had left very comprehensive instructions about everything I needed to know.

"Quiet stay in a self contained cottage, with off street parking, on the outskirts of Christchurch"

Very quiet setting and very self contained, with a continental breakfast supplied in the cottage. We were shown where everything was in the cottage by the owner. The bed was comfy.

The wifi was not strong and hard to get online.
