Cavendish Farm

Basic breakfast but enough supplied. easy to find and very good value for my stay. I was travelling from Picton and arrived later evening, was welcomed on arrival and shown facilities. Quiet night sleep!

Lovely farm setting close to Wood End village

The shower was a bit temperamental

The location feels rural while being with walking distance of restaurants. It is off the road and quiet. Host was friendly and helpful. The limited kitchen is fine for making coffee and microwaving leftovers.

Not being able to access the WIFI inside the facility wad a problem. There is WIFI available but it requires one to go outside and sit next to the owners house. My day starts at 5 am and this arrangement wasn't ideal especially on a cold morning.

We could not find fault with our one night stay including breakfast. The bed was heated with an electric blanket, an extra heater was immediately provided. Cereal, fresh milk, applles etc. ready in our fridge. Parking right outside the cabin. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A great stay which we can highly recommend.

Had my own breakfast but appreciate the milk provided. Appeaciated the guided bike ride to the Woodend bus stop in the morning
