Small well run B&B. Exceptional view. Quiet and relaxing. Great hosts.

This place is so beautiful, with such amazing views, and the host Serena is just lovely. She provides breakfast on the beautiful terrace each morning with food fresh from the farm, you can try their wine. If she offers you dinner you should definitely take it - it’s the best food we’ve had in Italy so far. It’s also served in a beautiful glass house on the terrace which is completely stunning and has amazing views (I actually think it would be ideal for a small wedding). The rooms are lovely too! And there is an outdoor bar area, bowls, a pool, the terrace. We wish we had stayed for an extra day so we could spend another day just chilling here.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about this property. The only thing to note is that there are a lot of steps if you have difficulty walking.

The owner was extremely organised, helpful and responsive. We stayed with our dog and she helped with many things when we asked for her help ex. Checking neighbour's unleashed dog for us. Their farm produces various vegetables therefore we were able to taste their frashly made smoothie as well.

The owner is so nice. She has a lovely breakfast. She is informative. The hotel has 4 guest rooms and is very intimate and sweet.

It has a super long flight of stairs leading from the road. The hotel owner helped my girlfriend carry her luggage. It’s just a long long flight to walk with bags. Also the AC wasn’t strong. It worked but not great.

Everything was excellent! Serena is a super host!!! The villa has an amazing view over the La Spezia Gulf. We recommend Belvedere for people value quality over quantity. Don't hesitate to choose the 6 course tasting menu and try the wines!

I would give this place 1000 stars if I could! My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and it was incredible. It is straight out of a romantic movie set in rural Italy, but the city is very close. Just make sure to take a taxi from the city out there. By bus and then foot there is 524 steps (yes we counted) and they are fine going down, but can be a lot when going back from a day of walking. The hosts did tell us though, so that’s on us. We didn’t even know they made their own food until they asked us if we wanted dinner on our arrival day a couple of days before we arrived. But this was the best food we had in the whole trip. Most of the ingredients were grown on their farm, and we got to try some local dishes we would have never heard of. The pool area is nice, calm and clean. They have a fridge stocked with wine, water, drinks and snacks. None of the usual stuff, but again homemade vegetable chips and juices. All of it delicious. The host couple is extremely nice. We didn’t have much contact with the husband, but he made the food, so that alone makes him my best friend. The wife is the de facto hostess and is so sweet and helpful. She will help you find the right bus, tell you about the good restaurants and how best to get around. All while smiling and joking, such a pleasant soul. All in all I can not recommend it enough. Everything about this place is perfect. You will not regret visiting.

You need to be aware the you have to go down maybe 50 steps to get to the hotel, even if you arive by car. However, it is well worth the stairs!

Absolute highest recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Belvedere9 is situated with incredible views overlooking la spezia harbour. it is a peaceful and restful place that is both conveniently located along the Cinque Terre and is also a world of its own. It is a wonderful place to pause and I would recommend having time in your schedule to spend a day or two simply being there without going out as it is absolutely wonderful. The most special thing about Belvedere9 are the hosts - their hospitality is royalty standard and the food is all local/home grown, absolutely delicious and presented with pride and care. I would not be surprised if soon Belvedere9 becomes booked for years in advance it is so good 🌟
