Koo Valley Farm

We liked the cast-iron stove inside the kitchen that kept us warm, as well as the electric blanket in the bed. The Eagle hiking trail up the mountain had spectacular views. The hosts were friendly and made us feel very welcome on arrival. We also loved being able to watch the stars from the stoep, and that the cottage was a bit further away from the main farm buildings.

Our stay was too short.

the view. the outside braai stoep.

very curt introduction and departure- not made to feel welcome. no shower soap. broken window blind. having to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom. sliding door between the bedrooms ie. no inside privacy. small and claustrophobic. far from the dam and farm amenities.

The scenery around you is beautiful. Units are basic, but much thought has been put in, so everything you need is there. The area at the dam is just idyllic. We had a great time.
