"Exceptional"

Es gibt auf dem Gelände drei Hütten. Wir hatten eine mit einem Schlafzimmer und zwei Betten im " Wohnzimmer". Es ist einfach, aber sauber. Dazu hatten wir Frühstück gebucht. Dieses bestand aus einer Vielzahl an Eiern, gesalzener Butter, Marmelade und viel Brot. Zum Kaffeekochen gab es einen Espressokocher. Draußen gab es direkt auf der Terrasse einen Grill. Auf dem Gelände gibt es zur Zeit vier Giraffen, die uns auch direkt bei Ankunft " begrüßt" haben. Dazu gibt es noch Bontebok, Springbock, Gnus und zwei Pferde, die bis an die Häuser rankommen. Swellendamm ist schnell erreichbar. Wir hatten zwei tolle Nächte auf der Kwetu Farm.

Die Tiere auf der Farm waren das Highlight.

Die Liegenschaft ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und stark renovationsbedürftig. Überall bei den Fenstern kriechen Fiecher hinein. Im Badezimmer ist Schimmel. Wir hatten 40 Grad während unserem Aufenthalt und es hatte keine Klimaanlage.

"Einzigartiges Erlebnis!"

Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis in einem Cottage zu übernachten und von der Veranda die Pferde, Springböcke und Giraffen zu beobachten. Eine Safari zu Fuß oder im Auto ist ebenfalls möglich. Die Einrichtungsausstattung war ausreichen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein Spielplatz befindet sich in 5 Minuten Entfernung.

"Besonderer Zwischenstopp für Naturliebhaber auf der Gardenroute."

Außergewöhnliche, saubere Location mit ua vier Giraffen an der Gardenroute N2 / R62 bei Swellendam (ca. 10km). Alle Tiere dort friedvoll und ungefährlich. Areal kann eigenständig befahren bzw. begangen werden. Mind. zwei Tage Aufenthalt sind sinnvoll, um den Ruheeffekt dort zu erfahren, ein Tag auch ok. Sehr gute, knapp gehaltene und absolut ausreichende Betreuung vor Ort. Idealerweise Sack Holzkohle und Getränke/Grillgut für Braai mitbringen. Einfaches Kühlschrank-Frühstück (hauseigene Eier), Feuerholz und Wein kann bestellt werden.

Alles gut.
