Tenuta Decimo - Il Borgo Di Mariano

This place is so beautiful and it's a real Tuscany vibe. If you want to rewind and relax, this is the place to be. I got here in early October and I guess it's an end of high season, so the resort was quite which I like, I can have a pool by myself and it's stunning beautiful with landscape and beautiful buidling!

Little light in the rooms and we had to pay 25€ extra for baby bed. That was not written on booking and we never had to pay extra for the baby bed.

Quiet, clean excellent location for visiting Certaldo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Petriolo and others. Breakfast is pricey but very good. Friendly and responsive staff.

Expect to have to bring your own sponges, washing up liquid, salt, oil, vinegar, matches for the gas stove. Ask for a kettle if you want one.

Tenuta Decimo's location is amazing, with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside, and very well kept grounds, makes you feel right at home. The staff is very welcoming and courteous, and the food at the restaurant (Borgo Mariano) is fantastic.

The location was excellent - very quiet and surrounded by nature. However it's a must to rent a car. Room had a private outdoor area which was great. The pool area was very quiet and clean. The restaurant had reasonable prices and food was great.

No shower gel in bathrooms although they were listed in booking.com. We checked with the receptionist and she gave us a pack of 3 very small bottles for 6 people. No soap in kitchen to wash glasses properly.

The Grounds and house are beautiful and the pools are well maintained. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating with all our various requests: They helped us to organise activities (horse riding highly recommended) and sorted out any queries or small issues quickly and effectively. The Restaurant is attractive, serves good food and is convenient (also great staff - they were so helpful in helping to make my husband's birthday dinner special). The location is well situated for all the wonderful Tuscan sights. We were able to walk into the local village and enjoy a pizza, which was a bonus. There is a good variety of different options available for breakfast and the terrace is pleasant.

Our apartment was perfectly nice, characterful and reasonably spacious, but it was very dark because the windows in the ancient buildings are small. For this reason, we would have appreciated more lighting inside. Our outside space was very close to other guests, so when we wanted to stay up late to chat and play cards etc, we used the tables and chairs in the communal grounds outside the Restaurant, which worked well.
