Great place for a one night stopover

The room for three people was small and the shower was so small you were unable to turn around on bend down to wash your feet.

The location, the facilities, animals, Jon and Trish. What's not to love. It is an idyllic setting and a piece of heaven. Such a warm friendly welcome.

Nothing at all. It was perfect

It was the perfect place for us on the last day of our holiday in Britain, because we left by ferry the next day and the port in North Shields is just a 20 minutes drive away. The farm is lovely and quiet and you get to know the dogs, horses and donkeys, who are all very nice. Of course ours hosts Jon and Trish were also very friendly and nice:-) Next time we're in the area, we have to stay longer.

A great location! It was a very relaxing stay in the countryside with only a 10-15min drive to the coast with lots of nice places to visit. We really recommend tynemouth but Whitley bay also great to visit. The room was lovely, clean & spacious with a small fridge and kettle (milk, bottled water, tea & coffee provided which was a nice touch). The owners were really welcoming and introduced our 9 yr old daughter to the horses, donkeys & dogs. There was also outside space for her to play - she had a fantastic time! We will definitely choose to stay here again when next visiting the area, so much nicer than a BnB or hotel. I can’t recommend enough!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holywell Grange Farm. Everyone we met was lovely and welcoming. The animals are amazing and well taken care of the dogs especially make sure you’re enjoying your stay. Will definitely return soon
