Great location, lovely hosts, wonderful dogs! Very comfortable room and bathroom. Thank you for the great stay and your kindness and welcome. Our toddler really loved meeting the horses and donkeys :) It was brilliant to be able to walk around the garden.

It would be great if there was a blind on the Velux window - our one year old woke at dawn because of the light! That's the only reason it doesn't get 10 stars from us.

Clean, friendly compact. Had everything we could have needed for 1 night stay. Definitely stay again and pass on to friends & family

I'm not very good on my feet so the stones were a little hard to manage

My daughter loved everything about Holywell Grange! John and Trish were great hosts who were very accommodating especially to our daughter who wanted to hang out with the horses and dogs!

Beautiful location in the countryside but not far from Newcastle. The host are very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dogs, donkeys and horses. The beds were comfy, room was clean with a mini portable fridge and some plates, bowls and cutlery. Also a kettle for tea/coffee with milk provided.

this place was amazing and the hosts were very nice to us. they did a tour of the farm, showing us all the animals. if you stay there make sure to give all the love to all of their dogs <3

An absolute gem of a place to stay in a quiet rural beautiful setting, yet close to the coast & all amenities. Was made very welcome, gorgeous room with all home comforts & needs catered for. Bonus of being surrounded by horses & resident dogs - an equine / canine lover’s perfect stay.
