"Beautiful, extreme but very far off the beaten track"

It being unusual and different, a memorable experience

The dassie poo and wee on the veranda and the fact that it’s not serviced daily. Also intermittent WiFi and none as you leave the property till you get lost trying to get back to CT

"Amazing Stay"

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff (manager Isabel) was super friendly and nice. I appreciated her always checking up on us and that she made our stay extra romantic!!

Location was a bit far. Had trouble with our car driving on the dirt road for +- 40 minutes.

"Beatiful, romantic lodge for couples/ nature lovers"

The place is fantastic! Excellent customer service, pristine location surrounded by some beautiful nature, literally in the middle of nowhere... The lodge itself was very spacious, clean, nicely decorated and the views were just spectacular. We have also enjoyed jacuzzi in the evening whilst star gazing, and each day (and night) could see some animals inc zebras :) highly recommend for couples/ travellers seeking a place of tranquility, nature lovers and hikers 😊

The wifi network was a bit slow at the lodge. There is a shop available with some daily products at site however not a supermarket and no restaurants/ takeaway places nearby. The closest ones are ca 50 mins away by car.

"Exceptional"

We loved the remote location nestled in the bush and surrounded by mountain range. The wildlife was spectacular, they were right at our door step. The room was beautiful and gave views of the landscape. We want to thank Isabel and Erasmus for making this an unforgettable experience for us. They are so accommodating. Desert wind private farm is a must for anyone wanting to escape to the countryside. The wood fired jacuzzi was amazing.

An amazing weekend getaway. Isabel and Erasmus are excellent hosts. Isabel went out of her way to make our anniversary weekend special. The hot tub, the view, location everything was perfect.
