such a hidden gem, we only stayed for one night as it was recommended we just do a day trip to Duoro from Porto but we should have done more. the property is beautiful, very well maintained and our suite was so lovely and full of little touches we really appreciated. we had the tasting menu from the on site restaurant and it might be one of the best meals i've ever had. breakfast is continental but a really diverse range and all great quality. views are exceptional, there's also a pool and lots of communal areas around the property where you can relax. we were a bit late arriving so missed the start of our cellar tour and tasting but the staff were so accommodating and ensured we didn't miss anything

there was some construction going on over the other side of the river which could be noisy at times. and not a critique of the property, but just to note - it really is very accessible from the train station, a 5 min drive or 20 min walk (which you could do, no more hilly than Porto) but if you arrive in Pinhao by train, would recommend pre booking a taxi to take you there. there's not a lot of taxis outside the station and you won't get an uber like in Porto

Such a magical place! The staff were so kind and helpful. The property itself is only a 15/20 minute walk from the train station. Our Accomodation was amazing -stunning and comfortable bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The wine tasting and tour was very interesting and the pool was a lovely place to relax and admire to views. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at cozhina de Clara and lunch at Tim’s taverna. This was honestly the best place I have ever stayed in! We are already planning our next trip back!

Amazing location, views and lovely environment!

This property is centrally located in the heart of the Douro Valley in Pinhão. It is still a family run business instead of the corporate wine owners. The wines were excellent, as they are just about anywhere in the Valley. Our room overlooked the river, which most do. It was clean with all modern amenities. We highly recommend this hotel. The staff were happy, helpful and accommodating to every need!

Sehr schöne Anlage, perfekte Lage mit Aussicht auf den Douro und die Weinberge, und Wanderungen direkt ab Hotel. Begrüssung mit einem Glas Rotwein aus eigener Produktion. Sehr schönes Frühstück Buffet das keine Wünsche offen lässt, kaum zu übertreffen. Das Essen kann auf der Terasse eingenommen werden. Auch der Pool ist empfehlenswert und schön angelegt.
