The location was perfect. We had an amazing view of the sea and the mountains! They provided us local eggs for breakfast which were incredible. Everything was cleaned very professionally as well.

Not enough wall plugs. The place was freezing and the bathroom did not have a plug so we could not plug in the heater . It was very cold

Breakfast was good. Would be nice to alternate rolls and bread for toast in the morning. It was nice waking up to the ocean and hearing the waves at night. Great location for very little rain

More hot water for showers. Once the first person took a shower there was no hot water for the second person. Other than that the place was quiet and so relaxing. We will definitely book again if we go back to Madeira. Joana was so helpful

We had a good contact with the hotel owner. We received everything we needed after getting in touch with her (Sharp knives and tea spoons were missing, some lamps and TV did not work). During check-in, I recommend verifying whether your SMS connection works. Hot water was hot, wifi worked, beds were comfortable, rural atmosphere was nice, parking was problem-free, and a motorway close enough.

Probably, the different buildings vary in quality. We stayed in a house "One-Bedroom Apartment" , separate from the other buildings, deep in the garden. We had a kitchenette near the entrance. The air there was very humid. There wasn’t a convenient way to dry clothes and shoes (in February). The stone floor was cold. Water from the porch could seep inside if I opened the door during rain. The gas stove was quite old. The kitchen was dark and lacked proper lighting. No freezer, but there is a refrigerator.

If you are looking for absolute peace and unity with nature - this is the place for you. Compact bungalows drown in greenery, rocks hang behind, and the ocean rages in front. The morning begins with a hundred-voice chorus of roosters. Rural flavor in every detail, simple friendly people. Extremely sweet Ms. Joana and delicious local bananas)) Convenient location, close to the extraordinary village of Santana, the beaches of Seixal and the baths of Porto Monish.

We were there at the end of January - it was quite cool and damp, so it was not possible to swim in the ocean

Beware of the cats , don’t feed them or you make it difficult for other guests ! They sneak in the house and stole food. They are outside hassling for food . May of these wild cats including kittens - they need to be sterilised or culled really or it will become a bigger problem. I would have liked a refill of wood for the stove as it was a little chilly some nights ( January)

the kitchen equipment could have been better (the oven was missing) very small bathroom and shower insects and bugs the heating was weak, we had to turn on the radiator every evening

Perfect place, peace, rural atmosphere, breakfast ok, every morning at 8:00 fresh bread. A place to spend evenings for the whole group. We will book again for sure.

Amazing stay. Houses were very cozy and in an nice environment surrounded by stunning views and garden. Very calm location. You get fresh bread every morning and everything was always clean. Lady who was taking care of the houses was very nice and you almost felt like home. Best stay in Madeira.
