Oudekloof Wine Estate

The view is nice and the indoor fire place. There is outside jacuzzi for summer. Lot of space in living room. Nice patio to sit on if wind not blowing.

The water was cold. The braai is not conveniently allocated. The place is falling apart a bit. Needs maintenance. Cold shower and waiting for assistance. Owner not replying.

Beautiful view. Really good possibilities for the place.

Kitchen reeked of mould.

The views were out of this world. A ton of space for the kids to run around and a pool.

Breathtaking view and a real farm atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful.

The scenery of the Tulbagh valley is great.

The kitchen utensils were unwashed (full of fat) and moldy as is all the kitchen cupboards inside. The pictures is misleading as the actual is is in urgent need of repair and maintenance. Surroundings on the farm looks like a scrap yard.

The setting and spaciousness

Host was not expecting us. Geyser was not turned on for our night's stay.

Beautiful view, the kids could roam free on the farm exploring, amazing mountain walk, friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable house.

The kitchen could be slightly better equipped but since we braaied outside it didn't matter.

Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Very peaceful location and the hike up the mountain was great, even in the rain

The rooms could certainly use a bit of TLC. There were multiple leaks in our roof and there were holes in the walls where the towel rack used to hang. It was raining very hard that weekend but our cushions for the outside chairs were soaked and full of mold. They should perhaps be left inside.

Tulbagh is a lovely area to visit. We had lunches outside on the terraces together with Oudekloof Shir(i)az, which was a stunning wine. Andrew and Catherine were great hosts and their staff were also amazing. The cottage was lovely and spacious and had everything you needed.
