Nestled in the heart of Tulbagh’s stunning wine valley, this exquisite accommodation on a picturesque wine farm exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was a hidden gem. The accommodation itself was pristine - immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, with a blend of modern comfort and rustic charm. The rooms were spacious and airy, with crisp linens, cozy beds, and tasteful decor that made us feel instantly at home. Waking up to the breathtaking views was an experience in itself. The tranquility of the surroundings made it easy to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of our stay was, of course, the wine! The farm’s own vintages were exceptional, and the wine tasting experience was both intimate and informative. The owner, Andrew, shared his passion for wine making with us, making the experience personal and enriching. Sipping on fine wine while watching the sunset over the valley was the perfect way to end the day. From the beautiful gardens to the neat and tidy interiors, it was clear that no corners were cut in creating this little slice of heaven. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in one of South Africa’s most beautiful wine regions, Oudekloof Wine Estate is a must. It’s more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated, pampered, and completely at peace. We can’t wait to return!

I loved the peace and quiet. The view was beautiful ❤️ Time well spent with my family! My son Absolutely loved the place and the farm. The staff was extremely helpful and checked up on us when we couldn't drive over the bridge that overflowed the low bridge. We had to go the long way around. They were kind enough to wait for us even after check in time 💖

There were a few plugs that didn't work properly especially in the single bedroom. The plug was unsafe for my son. The entire plug was coming out the wall. The struggle to get to the venue was a total nightmare but I would suggest anyone going there should drive early. The road wasn't that great but we loved every moment.

Lovely setting and views. The farm house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice walks around farm and over the hills. Helpful and accommodating hosts.

Good location

Mould all over the bathroom and bedroom walls. Paint flaking off due to damp. 2nd room just had two beds shoved in it. Absolutely no other furniture not even a side table or lamp.

The cottages are dirty and dilapitated. The paint on the walls is peeling off and covered in mildew. The skirtings are brown with dirt. The front door does not lock - we had to put a chair in front of it at night to keep it closed. It should be shut down!

The location was good. The view was spectacular.

No proper reception. Staff unsure of our unit - had to move because we were placed in the wrong one. No air-conditioning although it was a filter on the original search. Assume they had one somewhere and ticked that box on Bookings but it needs to be clearly stated if a unit does not have one when you've selected that for your whole facility. Not neat, felt and looked neglected. Curtains not on rails, second bedroom had no closet. Toilet paper stuffed into the air-vents. Some listed items not in the unit.

Quiet.

No service. No one available at arrival. Very poorly stocked property. You need to bring everything! No pots or pans even.
