Beautiful location surrounded by gorgeous mountain peaks, lush green landscapes and free to roam cattle, goats and ducks. The drive to Tulbagh was a bit tricky but directions to the location were clear and it was easy to communicate with Celeste (host). Celeste was the best! She shared milk with us, firelighters, matches to go well with the wood already supplied - made our weekend extra cozy! There's barely much to do in Tulbagh except for take pictures, go wine tasting (book in advance) and Olive oil tasting as well - but we enjoyed our stay.

The trip to town to get anything you might need is short (feels longer on the gravel road). The gravel road is very much doable though so...no stress. One thing - hot water is supplied from a gas geyser. So you either get boiling hot water or freezing cold.

Comfortable stay at a lovely cottage. We had everything we needed. Check in was easy. Balcony, view and pool were lovely.

There is a long dirt road to get to the cottage. Worth mentioning.
