Die Kuierhuis

Although it is far from the beaten path, I enjoyed the real “homey” feel. The farm like accommodation and views are awesome and you are warmly welcomed. I recommend travellers to visit the smaller, lesser known places like this. It was a real treat to stay here. The accommodation was very rural and not modern, which made it even more special.

Comfortable bed, excellent host, well equipped, peaceful place, can see the stars. The food is excellent.

The GPS will take you the wrong way, don't trust Google and don't take the Ventersburg turn off.

The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to perfection. I was given a candle light diner, which was superb. The owners are friendly and polite. If you thinking about a stopover in Bloemfontein or somewhere nearby, think again, rather stop here. It will be worth your while. These people really put their heart in what they do. If I do this route again, I know exactly where I will stay over.

I put Die Kuierhuis in my GPS and it took me straight there. In the rain the road to their house can be muddy but they always ready to help you, just in case. Returning to the freeway, I think my little front wheel drive Suzuki would have managed but they were with me all the way, because it rained the previous night.

Everything exeeded my expectations. I would definitely be back. Amanda is an excellent hostess

Everything😊. It was a wonderful farm experience with our own lovely little cottage looking onto a dam full of flamingoes. So peaceful and beautiful. Our dogs were welcome and they thought they had found a piece of heaven when they were allowed to run in the open farm spaces and play in the dam.

The access road was a bit rough but probably due to the recent rains.
