Die Kuierhuis

The wonderful communication beforehand and the friendliness of our reception was exceptional. We loved the additional care and attention to detail (fresh milk in the fridge, coffee and rusks, the sweet treats on our pillows). It was well worth the bit of extra drive to get there!

Quaint and homely kitchen with great food.

We were there during a bad storm, so conditions were extreme with a rattling roof.

The outdoor bath, indoor pool, the views and the peace and quiet. The owners and their dogs were amazing people. Farm milk was delicious.

Guesta should be told of the Dirt road. For me it was not a problem

We loved the off the beaten track feel, nice safe and open space and venue where we could relax and unwind after a long drive. Owner managed, warm and friendly.

The scenery is absolutely amazing. Sunset was spectacular. The view over the lake and the quietness is rest for your soul.

We had a lovely stay at Die Kuierhuis. As long as one is happy to go a bit "off the radar", is meets all the expectations. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility, and the lovely open spaces of the Free State. Amanda was a lovely host and tried her best to meet our demands. We had a lovely Christmas lunch prepared by Amanda. Very central location to visit surroundings towns in the area. Plenty of space to walk the dogs, and to cycle.
