Apartments Playa

Location is great, right by the beachfront and the strip. We got the bus from Palma and the bus stop is right opposite the apartment.

Not convinced the place has been cleaned, quite dusty, the balcony was dirty and there were no cushions for the outdoor seating which was a shame. Vile smell coming from the bathroom, probably due to the overflowing shower. Toilet seemed to drip and occasionally flush itself throughout the night which woke us on several occasions. Bathroom door sticks and is hard to open, very easy to get stuck in there. Meanwhile the door between the living space and bedroom didn’t close at all! The blinds in the bedroom are broken letting lots of light in early each morning. Whilst I know this is a cheaper apartment, we were very disappointed with our stay and won’t be returning.

Location couldn't have been any better. Literally seconds to the beach and the main strips. Multitude of places to eat within seconds also. Apartment was clean and has all amenities.

Air Con couldn't use as made a grunting/buzzing sound when on or off. If on, it would turn itself off and buzz as if their was a fault with it. The shower head wouldn't stay on the pole and kept sliding down. When you shower because of the design of the shower floor, it overflows almost immediately and soaks the floor. Had to buy towels to stop it overflowing onto the floor. Would stay again, no doubt, just a few things I think need looking at, and if they're sorted, it would be 10/10.

The location was the best thing about this apartment. Very near the beach (but no view of the beach) It has a washing machine which was very useful. The booking process was fast.

The kitchen was very small and hard to use for much. It’s not very practical really. Fine for making tea, or breakfast but more than that takes a lot of effort. The shower room and toilet, this was a mess and needs fixing. The shower tray does not contain the the water, it just flows out onto the bathroom floor. The temporary fix that is put in place is not working and frankly I can’t believe why anyone would think it was a satisfactory fix to the issue. The owners know water escapes the tray as they have very conveniently provided a mop and bucket for the customer to remove the water from the floor!! The shower head is not sturdy, also needs replacing. Fix the shower tray, put up a curtain, a door or replace the whole thing with a working shower enclosure. Things wear out, you get paid by visitors use the money to keep things working. The air conditioner unit makes a loud noise which makes it unusable which being in the room. So we couldn’t use it while sleeping. The weather was very hot at the time and would have been nice to turn on the unit for a while during the night but we couldn’t as it would have kept us awake. I reported the issue but not sure anyone looked at it even though I was told an engineer would be around to look at it. Lots of mosquitos!

Location and shower was only good thing about this property

Very convenient location. Everything is at your doorstep. Cafes, restaurant, coffee shops, beach etc. Very clean. Good service.

Some noise in the weekends but again in summer in a vacation spot this is to be expect. Some curtains would be nice to as the window shutter does not cover enough light so in my case It made me wake up a bit earlier than usual.

It was in a good location close to the beach and all the restaurant's shops public transport

Air-conditioning was a bit noisy, only 1 set of bedding for 11 days and the seal around the shower tray was leaking

Noisy. No curtesy welcome coffee, tee. No sufficient basic toiletry supply - shampoo, toilet paper.
