Odysseus Palace

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay here. The room is very dated and the bed is old and extremely creaky. The bathroom was not as in the photos. It was a bath shower that was very hard to get in and out of. The staff were lovely but it didn’t make up for the below par amenities.

Nice place, with very friendly owners. Excellent location, close to the ferry port, shops, restaurants and beaches. We only stayed one night, on the way up to the north of the island but could definitely stay longer.

Vasillos and his family went above and beyond to make us welcome 👍 always friendly and helpful but not in your face. We were very happy with the superior apartment which is very large, has 2 large balconies, dining area, sofas and kitchen area. The double bedroom is separate. There are 2 air conditioning units which was great as we happened to be there in the heatwave!!! The WiFi connection is excellent, there is also a lift for the less mobile or maybe when you don't feel like taking the stairs. Breakfast is served to you at your table ( not canteen style help yourself) and you just choose what you want. They seem to have thought of everything! The location is in the town so there are many Tavernas, shops, a bakery, pharmacy all on your doorstep. The beach is approx 200 yards and the walk is on the flat. There are more beaches within walking distance. There is a car hire office attached to the building. We will hopefully be returning.

Poros town is friendly and has a community feel but unfortunately it is tired and run down in places. However this never affected our enjoyable holiday!

The location is a short walk to the beach. We stayed here in the same room last year (#22). The hosts were lovely and very helpful. There have been some improvements to the property since last year.

The kitchen equipment should be improved. There were 2 of us staying and we had a mismatch of equipment. We only had 1 mug but lots of tiny coffee (expresso size) cups as well as an odd selection of sized glasses. Please improve for next year.

I spent 2 weeks at Odysseus Palace in workation. The apartment was spacious, bright and the table was big enough to accommodate laptop, screen and keyboard. WiFi very strong and stable throughout the whole stay. The kitchen had everything one needs to prepare a simple meal and a big, spacious fridge as well. Each balcony had a table, so I had enough room to sit and enjoy my meals during lunch break. The staff is amazing: kind, friendly, and helping out with anything you need! The location is very convenient: close to grocers and markets and all the shops, 5 minutes away from Poros beach and allain tavernas. I'll definitely come back :)

Perfect location, close to the beach, shops, and tavernas. Caring owners, attentive to our needs. Comfortable and spasious room with a balcony on one side and huge common terrase on the other side. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic amenities. Cleaningness is on a good level. Breakfast served in their restaurant downstairs with fresh bread, eggs, vegetables, fruits, coffee, and juice. We were very happy with our stay in this hotel and in Poros overall.

Nothing really, we enjoyed every day of our two weeks vacation.
