Baladinos Apartments

It is lovely home for holiday in great location: next to a big and not crowded beach, convenient to reach by public transport, several supermarkets located in walking distance, various and very delicious home made quality food (healthy and vegetarian friendly). Here we found everything what was needed for our relaxing week on the island and felt like visiting friends. We, two families with teenagers, were very warm welcomed by amazing hosts Maria and Kostas, who also kindly gave us useful tips, so we were able to travel without a car to all the places we wished, e.g. Falassarna, Elafonissi, Chania. We would like to comeback.

Location is very good. I had a conference at the Minoa palace so I walked but it was only 10 min. A bus stop is very close. Staffs there are amazing (including their kids!). Clean room, perfect WIFI. The beach just a few steps away is so beautiful.

Maria and Kostas are splendid hosts. They create such a beautiful environment for the guests that it feels like a family. I had amazing food (cooked at the moment with fresh ingredients), and the apartment was cleaned every day by the staff. The position was amazing, being far from the city center but perfectly serviced by bus services, and in a wonderful and tranquil zone, perfectly adapt to relax.

I had sometimes issues with the wifi speed, which I needed partly for work, but if the goal is to relax then it is the perfect combination!

The location, the ambience, the welcome, the hosts, the food - everything. It is located righht on the beach and guaranteed not to be crowded. You feel right at home, it doesn't feel like it's a hotel, more like a home away from home. A warm welcome is guaranteed by Maria and Kostas, and the delicious food is prepared by Maria - real home-cooking with vegetables from the their garden. It's a real relaxing get-away - I will be back!

There was nothing that stood out for me. It isn't as polished as some of the other places along the beach, but that is its charm, and you feel part of it. It doesn't have a pool, but why bother when you have the sea at your doorstep?

Awesome, cozy, quiet place just by the beach. Ideal for relaxed holiday :)

A wonderful older family apartment nearly on the beach. Simply rooms, very ok, with fan and airco Run by the very friendly Maria, always smiling. She and her husband speak very well English. Nice Greek meals, and above all local draft beer.

After so many years, the fantastic experience returned. I can only say we felt so very welcomed back!
