Glykeria Mini Suites

Perfect location if looking for a quieter place in Santorini. Perissa is 5 minutes away and all other attractions are a short drive away. The owners are a very nice helpful couple, parking is available on site, good breakfast that is varied daily. Nice view from the suites.

The beach is so close from the accommodation. You would see from the balcony see beach and also the sea. The breakfast changes every day and you get a lovely and delicious food. The room was cleaned every day from a very friendly staff.

The beach is nice and right in front of the hotel. You can have a place at the beach for free (one in the back) which saves you some money. We liked the property as a whole, and our room was good, too. It was very small (as shown in their pictures), and almost a basement room with just one small window. The beach was not at all crowded and the area is a very quiet one, even in the night.

We were here for our honeymoon in July-August 2022, the hotel and the surroundings were very nice, but we had a really bad experience with the owner of the hotel. First day, when we took a nap after lunch, the cleaning lady tried to walk into the room, using her key, but we were in the room, thankfully we locked the door. After 30 minutes, we fell asleep and the lady came knocking on the door twice, waking us up and being angry that we were 'blocking the room'. I went to the owner to ask that this would stop, but he told me, "how are we going to clean your room if you stay inside for 11 days straight?". - Imagine having the hotel owner telling you that... Next day, we had a dirty glass in our room, I asked the owner if I could have a new one. His answer: "well, maybe this glass is dirty because you used it?" Then he told me, that we were bad customers, and they are struggling with us. Just a lot of inappropriate responses from the owner, why would he say these things? I didn't even criticize him or anything, just asked for a new glass. So to be honest, I cannot believe all the good reviews on here, as this person became a bit of a nightmare to us. We just wanted to relax and have a good honeymoon time. They are used to justifying themselves, you can read through their answers on bad reviews, and I don't even want to know what they will answer to this one. I certainly wouldn't believe their excuses. Also, it was sometimes a bit uncomfortable when the owners were arguing with each other in front of the customers.

I booked this hotel to spend my birthday and it was an unexpectedly appreciated surpised pleasure. The hotel has 7 rooms, 50 meterd directly in front of the end of Perissa beach with the last line of sunbeds reserved for their guests. The room was modern and minimal design, have a fridgebar,coffe machine,bathrrom kits (except toothpast) Even supplied the beach towel in an ecobag for their guests.Bed was very comfortable! Every morning they have a full complete differnt breakfast ,their chef Ofelia was straordinary nice !( ah ! only water is on payment for breakfast) . They surprised me on my btrthday singing me happy birthday with a cake with a candle when I was having breakfast! Hotel is managed by Leftharis and his family and they were always ready to supply you any information you need,from renting a car to raccomadation of restaurants .If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, Glykeria mini suites is the one for you ,I highly recommanded when you visit Santorini.
