A peaceful retreat threaded with walking paths and two lovely Labradors to accompany you. Welcoming dining room and delicious food and wine. Recommend the wine pairing menu.

Specifically asked for a room attached to the main building due to mobility issues. Struggled to navigate the many patio steps to our lake house apartment, to carry a small bag from car to accommodations, to leave and return for meals. With the goal of revisiting the beautiful room we'd enjoyed on an anniversary stay there a few years ago, it was a deep disappointment that those rooms were booked (we requested a month prior).

Great Hotel, Restaurant and Surroundings. We come back here every winter. The free bikes are a nice treat.

Shame you can't stay here throughout the whole year

Pretty much everything. Very good!

The food actually. Dinner was not a good experience. The pork ribs were...bad. If it doesn't have quality don't bring it to the table. The lamb wasn't good either. But we still enjoyed the stay, staff and wine. Beautiful spot indeed.
