Herdade dos Grous

It was a marvelous experience. The view is great, many amenities available, the welcome gifts in the room was a pleasant surprise, the staff is very friendly, everything was thought of down to the smallest detail.

The swimming pool was not perfectly clean. I could see many particles in the water and feel a kind of sand in the bottom of the swimming pool.

Amazing property, amazing scenery and amazing attention to details.

The room was comfortable, well furnished, great view. The pool area was relaxing. Enjoyed both walking trails as well. Breakfast was delightful, all the staff were helpful.

The location is very beautiful. The rooms are big and comfy.

There’s a lack of charging plugs in the bedroom. The trails needed maintenance. Maybe in the high season it will be better taken care of.

Absolutely fantastic place, loved everything about it

Stayed there for two nights of our European trip, to relax between visits to busy cities. Beautiful property and luxurious room. Welcome fruit, wine and pastries were a good surprise.

We liked everything!! However, it’s a remote location, if people are looking for some action and sightseeing.

The herdade was lovely. The outside pool must be a wonder during summer. They had horses, hogs, cows, 3 dogs and many ducks. A lot of green space. The house we slept in was 5-10’ on foot (1’ by car) from the restaurant but the we never minded the trip. We also had a wine taste and we loved it.

Breakfast was good. I would have liked fresh pancakes not precooked. Also maybe fried eggs to order I don't eat meat
