As my wife has mobility problems, no anti slip in bath or hold rail to gain access. So didn’t have shower.

Great room. We arrived in December and whilst it wasn't necessary the option to use the fireplace in the room was great. The breakfast is fantastic!

We had a lovely big room with a balcony. As the weather in November was chilly and a bit wet, lighting the fire in our room was absolutely wonderful - so romantic and cosy! We loved the long walks, cycling, pool table, table tennis etc - lots to do at our own pace.

The only slight negative we had with our two night stay was the same menu for lunch and dinner, and the same menu both days. While it was excellent, some variety would have been preferred, particularly if we were to stay longer.

Beautiful landscaping, well taken care of, peaceful. Great food, delicious wine, wonderful breakfast.

November is a perfect time to go, no crowds, but also few staff, so dinner may take a while… sauna needs to be requested ahead of time.

Amazing beautiful quiet location. Food and wine excellent. Helpful staff. Good value.

The large grounds and rooms are a little unloved in places. Nothing to worry about.

Nice kitchen-living room; good quality beds. Great grounds; bicycles were good as well. The fireplace in our living room was super with good fire making equipment. Ample space outside.
