Close to the airport, attentive host greeted us for our late arrival and made sure we were comfortable. Very comfortable rustic style room.

Style… a real traditional Quinta and the kindness of the owners

Not a problem for me - on the contrary - but it takes 25 minutes on foot to get to beaches, restaurants, town etc

Manuela and the cleaning staff were very kind and helpful.

The filters on booking.com showed that this location had air conditioning and it turns out they only have portable fans. They were kind enough to go and purchase an A/C unit for our room as we were sleeping in the attic and was very hot.

It has a nice patio area with plants and the staff was friendly and acommodating.

While it is charming that it is a very old house, we had insects such as bugs and cockroaches in the room which wasn‘t very nice. The mattress is really hard and there is a street close by which isn‘t the busiest but you can hear every single car very well. The rooms are quite hot, even if you open the window. And if you do open the window (as mentioned the house is very old and ventilation is not the best, so if you‘re sleeping, the room gets stuffy quickly) there is lots of light coming into the room. Not many plugs to charge your devices. Not much in the area close by. If you don‘t have a car, it is quite inconvenient (as is, the whole island, in fact).
