Beautiful small estate in the vineyards, who also happen to produce a nice port; beautiful pool; beautiful japandy style designed interior; very peaceful place within proximity to great wineries, restaurants, and the village; the pictures don’t do justice; the breakfast was very nice; the staff was amazing and accommodated late arrival

Everything! Andres was an amazing host and Anna is lovely!! Loved the concept and the wine tasting is highly recommended. The breakfast was great and the room very nice!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Quinta de Casa Amarela in the Douro Valley, Portugal, and it was an absolute delight. The accommodation effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts, making for a truly memorable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was a delightful start to each day, and the pool area, overlooking the vineyard, provided a serene backdrop for relaxation. I would also recommend the wine tasting with Gil, the owner – his warm welcome and extensive knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Portugal's wine country, Quinta de Casa Amarela is the place to be.

It was a cozy clean home in a beautiful area with a lovely pool and kind staff. Breakfasts were good.

It didn't seem such a great value (it was the most expensive place we stayed on our 3-week trip in Portugal), but it was lovely, and I do recommend it! Perhaps if we were staying here longer, it would have been worth the cost. We were out and about every day after breakfast. Other than one luxurious hour lazing by the pool and enjoying the view. Are you coming here to rest? Write a novel? coming with other couples? (There are 3 other rooms!). If so, it would be money well spent.

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Beds and room were very comfortable.

There was a heavy perfumed smell in our room which was bothersome.

Breakfast, pool, property and staff were all fantastic.

Location is a bit far from the town and restaurants.
