Das Steinhaus

Elona and Klaus are lovely hosts who make the extra effort to make you feel at home. The breakfast in the main house is a delicious farm-style meal with home baked bread and cheese, with farm butter and yogurt from the farm cow. It doesn't get better than that. Very good value for money too, and nice and peaceful spot.

A lovely little farm cottage, perfect for a solo traveller or couple with very friendly hosts. Its a B&B so no kitchen in the cottage, but lots of trendy restaurants in the southern cape's most beautiful town of Napier. The price per night is incredibly good value.

Lovely nature surroundings. Isolated, yet close to town. Hosts were pleasant, friendly and accommodating.

There was nothing that we dont like

Being situated on a small working family farm, the setting takes one away from the clutter of city life. We loved the warm homely welcome and home made breakfast fresh from the farm. There are great biking and hiking trails with beautiful rolling landscapes and it's few minutes from the very pretty town of Napier with a choice of cozy places to eat.
