To: Booking.com Re Aswan Nile Palace: and Sharp Pyramids Hotel in Cairo' Re Aswan Nile Palace: We visited the property and realized that, although the view would be stunning, and the interior lounge space looked attractive, nothing else correlated with what we were expecting. The locality was far removed from town or any of the main Aswan sites, and it was right next to a major building site, with the road also being repaired. We told management that we were canceling our stay because we wanted to stay at the locality we booked. We therefore want to request Booking.com to please follow up to find out what is happening there and if we were charged at all. To: Booking.com About Sharp Pyramids Hotel in Cairo': Re About our earlier 'botched' booking with 'Sharp Pyramids Hotel in Cairo' : Here again there seemed to be a scam at work. Although the original booking had been confirmed for our stay at the carefully selected locality, the person who contacted us and fetched us from the airport took us to a completely different hotel, also with a different name, claiming that the hotel had changed it's name. He also insisted on immediate payment, even though he knew that we were very unhappy. Even though all staff members were great and went out of their way to make our movement easy it was not what we had booked. The hotel changed our inadequate initiall room for a lovely one, it was an inconvenience not to stay at the hotel at our carefully previously selected locality for proximity to both the old and new Egyptian museums.

Chambre très confortable. Le personnel est sympa mais fait le strict minimum

Très belle vue gâchée par les travaux. D’ailleurs tout le quartier est en travaux… balades autour de l’hôtel impossibles. C’est le premier hôtel en Égypte qui fait payer les bouteilles d’eau. Les autres hôtels laissent l’eau à disposition.
